Own It Real Estate was founded on a simple frustration: property transactions in Singapore are among the largest financial decisions a person will ever make — yet the process often feels opaque, reactive, and dependent on luck more than system.

We know this not just as agents, but as homeowners. As a family of five with three boys, we've lived the same journey our clients face — outgrowing a space as their family grew, navigating the decision of when to upgrade, and figuring out how to make property work not just as a home, but as a financial asset that genuinely builds our family's future. That experience shapes how we advise every client who walks through the door.

We’ve spent years working within Singapore's property market — closing HDB resale transactions, coordinating upgrader timelines, and advising buyers on new launches — and in between the process of meeting other buyers and sellers - we realised why doesn't every client get the same level of process, clarity, and communication? Most property agents in Singapore operate in a way that's often strong on relationships, weaker on systems.

Ron entered real estate in 2009 with a background in banking — and brought with him something most agents don't have: a genuine sense of numbers, financial planning, and process discipline. Over 15+ years, he has personally helped more than 300 families navigate their property needs, from first-time HDB purchases to complex upgrading journeys.

That banking mindset shapes everything about how Ron works. Pricing is backed by CMA, not instinct. Timelines are mapped to the day. Every step of the sale — from onboarding to handover — follows the same documented 3-phase framework, tested across 40+ transactions in 2025 alone. He also developed the OWN Method — a 4-step upgrader framework built on the same methodology he and Ming Hui used for their own property journey as a couple. Because the best systems aren't theoretical but lived and experienced.

Ming Hui joined real estate in 2013, also bringing a background rooted in structure and precision. Together with Ron, she has been part of the team behind more than 300 families' property journeys — and the one most clients remember for making the process feel effortless.

Her role in the partnership is the client experience end-to-end. The systematic approach that Ron architects, Ming Hui executes with the kind of care that turns first-time clients into lifelong ones.

As a husband-and-wife team, Ron and Ming Hui have also walked this path personally — using the same buy/sell methodology they apply for their clients on their own upgrading journey. That lived experience is not incidental to what they do. It is the foundation of why they do it the way they do.
